Health Care Flop

Kavita Patel was previously policy director for the White House Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in the Obama administration and recently posted her views on the thoughts of the public on the repeal of the health reform enacted by President Obama. (CNN-Kavita Patel)

What Kavita conviniently seems to leave out is the reprocussions such a bill could and most likely will result in that these "Young Guns" of the GOP are trying to prevent. She mentions them as if they were confused children who dont know whats best for them. When in fact they are looking into the best interest of the country as a whole not just the lower class.

One such reprocussion could be the need for more medical services and yet MORE government spending. Just what this country needs right now right? Another risk of the health care reform would be the fact that within the bill, the government will provide bare minimal care rather than the quality assured care you get from the private sector. My main point in disagreeing with this reform is simply due to the fact that it is unsure exactly what the outcome may be. What's to say that the money spent on universal health care couldn't be better spent building more clinics and employing more quality physicians.

Kativa seems to be under the misconception that America can afford a toss-up type reform at its present economic situation. What we need is more bills either solidifying Obama's universal health care system, preventing the U.S. health care system from turning into one like say Canada for instance, my birthplace, where waiting lists for important surgeries could go on for months or years even and many of the countries citizens are forced to seek medical help in the states for fear their treatment may come a tad too late.

Over all, i believe Kavita is being a tad too narrow minded on a subject with such a huge margin for error.
